The House of Fabergé created exquisite jewelry and decorative arts for the Russian Imperial Court. Our jewelry, with a cultured pearl and blue enameled cap in vermeil, is reproduced from a decorative element adorning a large Imperial rock crystal egg presented to the Empress Alexandra Feodorovna by Nicholas II in 1909. The egg contains a replica of the Standart yacht, perhaps in commemoration of the ship"™s sinking when the Empress, saving children and maids first, was the last woman to leave the ship.Vermeil, Approx 1"
